Canada Goose, c5 pairs on various pond & lodges plus flock of 8 over Harden Moor,

Mallard, c12,

Teal, 10 on The Flash near Deeply Vale and 4 on the bottom lodge,

Goldeneye, male and 2 females on AMR,

Goosander, redhead on Buckhurst Lodge,

Buzzard, 1 over the valley,

Sparrowhawk, 1 soaring over Harden Moor,

Kestrel, female at traditional nest site,

Pheasant, 4 calling males plus female flushed off Harden Moor,

Moorhen, 2 on bottom lodge,

Jack Snipe, 3 on Harden Moor,

Snipe, 34 on Harden Moor & further 8 down the valley,

Lapwing, 2 pairs,

Curlew, 4 pairs seen but maybe some duplication,

B.H.Gull, c30,

Herring Gull, c40 up the valley,

L.B.B.Gull, c12 over the valley off AMR,

Collared Dove, 1,

Stock Dove, 1,

Little Owl, 1 on rock face,

G.S.Woodpecker, 1 drumming on telegraph pole,

Skylark, c15, especially on Harden Moor, mainly in song,

Meadow Pipit, c10,

Pied Wagtail, 3 at Buckhurst Farm,

Song Thrush, 3 in song,

Mistle Thrush, 2 in song,

Redwing, c50,

Fieldfare, c250, in mixed flock with Starling,

Starling, c400 in mixed flock with Fieldfare,

Goldcrest, 2 singing birds,

House Sparrow, 3 at Buckhurst & just 1 at Salesis Farm,

Chaffinch, c15 mainly in song,

Greenfinch, 4 in song,
