Grey Heron - 1 flew to Waterfoot off Chapel Hill, 1 at the small pond + 1 flew up the Limy valley + another bird seen later on same flight path.

Coal Tit - 1 at cemetry + 1 later at Tip lodge

Long tailed Tit - pr near cemetry

G.S.W - 1 calling at cemetry.

Blackbird - 5 singing birds between Reedsholme & Waingate.

Redwing - c40 flock on pasture at Chapel Hill.

Mistle Thrush - 3 present with redwings on pasture.

Fieldfare - min. 3 present with redwings.

Starling - c30 on pasture at Chapel Hill + 36 at Higher Constablelee.

Goldfinch - initial sighting of 4 birds then 20 flock at Waingate.

Greenfinch - 1 in song at Waingate

Chaffinch - 2 at Waingate + c4 with redwings + 3 singing at various points.

Siskin - 1m at Waingate

Wood Pigeon - small flocks on pasture, largest 8 birds.

Curlew - 1 calling from Cribden.

Canada Goose - pr at Tip lodge.

Gull passage. Odd small parties of large gulls moving N. all afternoon. More intensive movement noted from 16:00hrs approx. Birds coming from S. then moving N.E.up the Limy valley all were Herring or lesser black backed, only a few G.B.B.gull seen. 236 in total, over the course of an hour.
