Twite survey area.

Alden road/High moss/Hare clough/Carr lane. 1100/1600 hrs Sunny calm 17 degrees.

Same area was covered on 25th MAy, ran out of time to post report, one female Twite was seen on that visit.

Buzzard....total of five in the air together.

Sparrwhawk.....both adults at a nest site.

Kestrel...adult female feeding two fledged young

Curlew...three family parties, total of 11.

Twite....two males seen at different locations, one near to the female location.

Mistle Thrush....seven including juveniles.

Good numbers of Starling in loose flocks.

Willow Warbler....several especially along Musbury brook.

Goldfinch.... high numbers in small flocks feeding on thistle.

Pheasant....few males.

Carrion Crow....several pairs feeding on high pastures.

Wodpigeon...plenty about

Great Spotted Woodpecker.....Alden wood

Chaffinch.....lots round the route.
