River Irwell Strongstry.

The river has been high and coloured for sometime, it has now cleared and dropped to a reasonable level.

Walked the bank both sides Stubbins to Ewood Bridge, the following is just river associated species....

Single Dipper in three locations, Stubbins,Irwell Vale, and Ewood Bridge.

Three Grey Herons at Alderbottom.

Single Kingfisher in Strongstry.

Moorhen near Picture frame.

Goosander.....four Females, one with a very attentive Male in stunning breeding plumage.
