Cleared five inches of snow from the feeding station this morning and put out chopped apple and sultanas plus all the usual seeds, nuts, and fat, at time of posting still -1, snowing, and bitter easterly, made a brew and sat back in the warm.....

Robin....9 territorial instinct has gone out the window.

Song Thrush....7 also two more in the back garden.

Blackbird....14 I believe these all to be resident, they are paired off and aggressive.

Mistle Thrush....3 unusual at the feeding station but times are harsh.

Redwing....flock of around ten between back and front of the house.

Need a Fieldfare to complete the set.

Also here....

Jay..Great/Blue/Coal Tits..Goldfinch/Chaffinch/Bullfinch...Nuthatch...Jackdaw...Wren...Dunnock...Great Spotted Woodpecker...Woodpigeon....Collared Dove.

I have had Goldcrest here for over a week which is unusual, and a pair of Treecreeper yesterday but not seen today.

Going to brave the chill factor and replenish the food.

Regards Brian.
