Hi Brian

For the record I have counted 14 occupied holes in the sand martin colony (possibly one or two more). Whitethroats also feeding young in the big field north of Ewood Bridge

Hi Andy,

Yes Agree with Sand Martin numbers, had a good walk up and down the Irwell around the Spotted Flycatcher site but could not locate another pair. The resident pair were busy feeding young all the time I was there, you can not see the nest but I think they could fledge early next week, will be good to see how many young.

While there I had several Grey Wagtail, two Dipper and three juvenile Willow Warblers.

Regards Brian.
