c500 swifts present this morning at 10:45 all had dispersed when I returned at 1:30 pm

also present - c80 swallow, c10 sand martin, c40 house martin

only other birds of note

1 buzzard hovering near Horncliffe Wood mobbed by 3 magpies

1 female sparrowhawk at Irwell Vale

1 goldcrest singing at Irwell Vale

2 lesser redpoll over Irwell Vale
