Thrushes.

Some welcome sunshine this morning and 10 degrees brought the Mistle Thrushes to the feeding station, 5 in total taking apple and sultanas......then my first Redwing of the winter actually on the ground feeding, also two Song Thrush and a female Bullfinch.....first this winter. Regards Brian.

Female Scaup still present at Clowbridge res this morning - per A.Jones I mention this as one has turned up at A.M.R. today (see GM forum), possibly 2 birds in the area or the same one moving about. The Clowbridge bird is only the fourth since 2000 to occur in Rossendale. Something of a rarity. Bob.
