Butterflies in your garden

Surprised to see a caterpillar of large white(I think?)so late in the season aka 24th August. Still the large white can be triple-brooded if climatic conditions inc.warmth and sunshine abound. Note the cryptic camouflage of the red admiral resting on panel fence.
