Searched in vain for an early wheatear in weather that varied between gale force winds & severe hailstorms, consequently very little seen.
Cowpe Res. 1m mallard, 1 snipe nearby, 1 pr curlew, 3 stock dove, 1 m stonechat, 4 skylark & 4 meadow pipit nearby.
Cragg Quarry. 14 skylark & 1 pr canada geese on Cragg High Level Tank.
