2 male wheatears were at Scrubbing Mills this morning. Nearby on Whittaker Pasture were 6 singing skylark and 4 lapwings.
Also noted this morning were
Staghills Woods: 2 drumming great spotted woodpeckers, 1 jay, 30 - 40 redwings and a blue tit seen entering a nest box.
Lower Cloughfold: 1pr long tailed tits, 1pr goldcrests and 1pr bullfinches
Warth: 1m kestrel, 4 stock doves, 1kingfisher flying from the river to Kenroy's Pond and 1 pied wagtail.
