3 Wheatear, Reed Bunting at 3 sites, Curlew over, 1 Little Owl, c45 Fieldfare, 1m Ring Ouzel, GreenWoodpecker calling, Meadow Pipits displaying and Skylarks in song. Ring ouzel was on grazed pasture with Fieldfares just out the woodland on the N. side of the valley.
Reedsholme - 10:00am G.S.W. drumming, Green Woodpecker calling from Pinner area, Raven soaring over Cribden then stooped into the E. side of the valley beyond Folly Clough. Sparrowhawk also high up on the thermals.
