Did a full circular starting from Grane Information Centre, up to Haslingden Moor, via Snipe Holes to Rushy Hill, then back to Dry Hill & Warmwithens, then back East to Thirteen Stone Hill, returning via Priestentax and Deep Clough.

No Dotterel, No definite Greenlands...

Lapwing - a pair displaying between Snipe Holes & Rushy Hill.
Curlew - 2 pair (one at Rushy Hill and one at Dry Hill/Warmwithens)
Linnet - 1 on move N to S
Swallow - 1 on move SE - NW
Skylark - Plentiful everywhere - excellent year so far estimate 20/30pairs
Meadow Pipit - perhaps a score at best
Wheatear (Eur?) - A large upright/male near Dry Hill/Warmwithens
Wheatear (Eur) - 1 female at Deep Clough
Stonechat - Pair near Priestentax
Grasshopper Warbler - Reeling at Deep Clough.

ALSO 1 SWIFT BACK ON TERRITORY ABOVE PINE STREET, HASLINGDEN - this happened also last year when one came in a week prior to the rest of the family group.

Cheers,
Bryan.
