Bar Tailed Godwits 4/5/7.

Visit to S. Rossendale 15:00 hrs onwards.
Knowl Moor - Pr Curlew, 1 Wheatear, 1 m Golden Plover, 1 Crane 100ft high and bright yellow.

A.M.R. - 2 G.C.Grebe, 1 Oystercatcher, 1 Wheatear,1 L.B.B.Gull, sev. Canadas

Cheesden Bar - 2m + 1f Bar Tailed Godwits and 2 halfwits. Usual lapwings and 1 Curlew.

E.B.S.W. - c200 mixed Swallow and House Martin split about 50/50 only 1 Sand Martin seen. c7 Swift feeding a lot higher up. c20 Pied Wagtail, 1M Reed Bunting, 4 B.H.Gull

Were the halfwits something to do with the crane, or a seperate species altogether?
