Large Red Damsels at Holcombe Moor Camp 5th May

Several teneral (immature) Large Reds seen, some of them well away from water.  1 near Paddy's Pond (SD766171) looked newly emerged, very pale - see photo at http://www.flickr.com/photos/roc_bb4/485420653/

Another near a pond below Krypton Factor (SD766156) looked almost mature - stripes on thorax almost red - see photo at http://www.flickr.com/photos/roc_bb4/485420663/
