Approx 25 Azure Damselflies at Eden Wood Lodge 3pm, on Brambles 30-40 yards above water under sheltered wall.
All looked mature.
Roughly 15 male, 10 female.

Oh goody, something that's not a Large Red at last. You were lucky to find a slot of suitable weather, Ina. The last few days have been awful.

Your are sure there were no Common Blues among them? They can be quite hard to tell apart.

Are you going on Sunday to Hardcastle? Hope to see you there.

Possitive about ID. I took photos and checked with the book. Found a good way to remember males anyway. Azure has a U and Common has an O on S2.
Regretfully I won't be with you all at weekend, I'll be at work.
