1 grey heron
4 lawpings - lapwings seem to have been absent for 2 months
approx 43 canada geese
20 or 24 mallard min  - 4 may have been counted twice.  
heard 2 moorhen - could have been same bird
well over 50 - martins, swallows  swifts
1 tone chats, 2 meadow pipits
woodpigeons, carrion crows, wren

one dead magpie - seemed t be eaten, only its frame left and head nearby but decapitated - any idea what could have done it?  it as on a pathan that leads around the res.
