7 mallards, 1 or 2 grey heron?, 1 moorhen, 2 reed buntings min of 20 meadow pipits, over 20 swallows and martens still around, min of 20 b h gulls, min of 8 herring gulls, a couple of linnet and skylarks, couple ofmistle thrsh,  the usual carrrion crows, magpies, woodpigeons....

heard a raven calling,  kestrel hovering on the rossendale hyndburn boundary of grane road,

2 bird calls heard:-

1.  unseen bird in the field near water plant with a screaming tseep tseep sound

2.   another unseen bird let out a very strange call from that same field 2 times.......like a "toy toy toy"   - actually this could have been a mammal too.

forgot to add a flock of min. 40 starlings too

i forgot to add the heron which was "sat on the water" for a while. it was not exactly swimming but could not have been wading in such deep water.
