Hi Ina, Kingfisher is very good bird up there well done, not too many records over the years.  G.N.Diver reportedly present this afternoon see ELOC site.

The Great Northern Diver was still present at 4-00pm along with 2 Goldeneye (1m/1fm) 6 Goosander (4fm/2m) 20 BH Gull,6 Common Gull, 1 LBB Gull and lots of rain and wind!

Hi Bob, et al.
Think the Kingfisher was literally on a flying visit. It screamed past about 3 foot above the water and about 5 mins later came back again (still shouting it's head off), but was gaining height as it headed for the sailing club.
Glad the GND is still there, but as I'm not capable of walking far at the minute one view of it will have to be enough.
