08:30 - 10:30, all main lodges still frozen!
Heron, 1 feeding in chimney ponds.
Canada Goose, 8 flew over towards Ramsbottom,
Mallard, groups of 4 & 6 on frozen ponds,
Kestrel, several individuals & 2 females.
Sparrowhawk, 1 female,
B.H.Gull, c80 on mucked fields,
Common Gull, c80 on mucked fields,
Herring Gull, 7 flew south west,
L.B.B.Gull, 4 flew south west,
G.B.Gull, 1 flew south west,
Meadow Pipit, 8 in flooded field,
Song Thrush, 2,
Mistle Thrush, 1,
Redwing two singles,
Fieldfare, flocks of 7 & 2,
Blackbird, c30 in 1's and 2's,
Starling, c200, mainly on mucked fields but c60 flew south west.
House Sparrow, c12 at salesis farm,
Chaffinch, c20,
Siskin, two flew over calling.
