Hi Kevin, we were down that way yesterday and noticed big numbers of Jackdaw.  Two weeks ago they were leaving to the south just before dusk, which begs the question where do the birds that roost in Brookes' wood at Crawshawbooth come from?
Regarding your Reed Bunt.earlier this week. I had one at the table at work last spring during similar weather so it appears that they will move to lower ground at such times. Suprisingly there were none at E.B.S.W.yesterday.
Bob.

Hi Bob

Large numbers of jackdaws leave Waterfoot late afternoon and move south and others from further up the valley pass over all moving in the same direction.  None of them ever seem to head towards your neck of the woods.

cheers Kevin
