Mallard numbers down in strongstry they all seem to be in ramsbottom eating fish and chips !!
No kingfishers seen on the river since the january floods.
I counted 11 robins at 0830 on one feeding station this morning,presumably the result of two very cold nights.

Treecreeper numbers are slightly up,but i can not find any goldfinch at all ?
Lots of homo sapiens[the rambling variety] on bull hill,but they had a use by flushing my only snipe.
The three pairs of stonechat i saw were all displaying.
The two ravens were a long way away but positive id.
