Cowm Res 18 canada geese, 44 mallard, 4m & 2f tufted duck, 1pr goldeneye, 85 black headed gull, 7 common gull, 2 goldcrest, 1pr mistle thrush, 7 chaffinch, 7 goldfinch & 3 reed bunting.

Spring Mill Res     1 great crested grebe, 5 goldeneye, 2 goosander, 58 black headed gull, 2 common gull, 1 little owl, 3 stock dove & 3 pied wagtail.  Plenty of exposed mud here, probably worth a look for waders when the frost lifts.

Withens Hey   1 snipe, 1 jack snipe & 1 skylark.

Cowpe Res   1 Canada goose, 2 stock dove, 1 grey wagtail, 1 meadow pipit, 4 long tailed tit, 2 coal tit, 1 goldcrest, c500 starling & 4 goldfinch.

Cowpe Village      6fieldfare, 1 redwing & 40 starlings.
