Moorhen, 2 pairs on Holden Wood,
Lapwing, 2 pairs,
Golden Plover, 28 on Haslingden Moor,
G.B.B.Gull, 2 flew east down the valley,
Herring Gull, 3 flew east down the valley,
B.H.Gull, flocks of 15 & 5 flew east down the valley,
Wood Pigeon, several pairs & flock of 12,
Collared Dove, 1,
G.S.Woodpecker, 1,
Skylark, c12 singing strongly,
Meadow Pipit, c15 several in song,
Pied Wagtail, c6,
Grey Wagtail, 1,
Wren, Robin & Dunnock all in good numbers and singing,

Fieldfare, a flock of 15,
Stonechat, 5 males and 1 female, very aggressively establishing territories!
