Grey Heron, 1,
Pink Footed Goose, 6 on pasture again as seen a couple of weeks ago,
Canada Goose, c20, mainly paired up.
Mallard, c12,
Peregrine, a male zipped through south with a major tail wind!
Kestrel, 1,
Pheasant, 1,
Curlew, 1 pair, 2 singles,
Golden Plover, 1 single on turf fields,
Snipe, 1 flushed,
Lapwing, 4 distict flocks on breeding territories. Good numbers with 24, 20, 6 & 2 birds respectively,
B.H Gull, c6,
Common Gull, c10, on turf fields,
Herring Gull, 3,
L.B.B.Gull, c30,
G.B.B.Gull, c6 off A.M.R then headed north west towards Edenfield,
Skylark, c12 either on turf fields or Harden Moor, many singing,
Meadow Pipit, c40, goods numbers arrived back,
Pied Wagtail, c6,
Fieldfare, c40 on pasture,
Redwing, c 6 in horse paddock with c8 blackbirds,
Song Thrush, c8, many in song,
Wheatear, male at Cheesden and another on Harden Moor,
L.T.Tit, pair,
Jay, 1,
Starling, several small groups and one flock of c80,
House Sparrow, 4,
Chaffinch, Goldfinch & Greenfinch in good numbers,
Bullfinch, 1 female,
Siskin, 1,
Reed Bunting, c4 singing males.
