1.  An owl was heard over my house - maybe 2 calling about 2am last wednesday night - one call was very close and the other distant.  The house is in Haslingdn centre area.


2.  A large corvid - Carrion or Raven has a large eerie type nest on a pylon on as you drive down Grane Road.  It is directly opposite the road that turns off into Belthorn.  Its at the top of the pylon.  i think its a Raven nest as the nest looks quite Eagle-ishly big


3.  A bird crossed the dual carriageway near Huncoat - I thought it was a falcon of some sort but very different.  It had long pointed wings and around the size of a pigeon.   It had a short tail.   Maybe it was a falcon carrying prey as at times I thought it was flying very differently.  its not a bird I have recognisd seeing ever.
