I hope so Ina as the garden has been devoid of any real Butterfly/insect activity. Then again the flower count has been poor so not a lot to feed on, but I think tomorrow is to be a scorcher!!

Ina,You beat me to the posting, agree with your sightings, saw a couple of small skippers, dont know if you walk down the path into strongstry,if you do,there is an old quarry face on your left, there were six plus speckled woods there this morning.
I know where you mean Brian, there are quite a few Speck Woods all the way up that path and into the National Trust 'bit'. Apart from Meadow Browns though, numbers of all species seem to be down this year especially Skippers in that area. What do you think? Just got back from a week on Anglesey with the Grand-kids, more butterflies there, even in the rain!!
Good numbers of meadow brown today, also quite a few large whites and speckled wood, i agree about small skipper, only found one. Also found a gatekeeper just past the picture frame.
