It was brilliant, just got there whilst the sun showed through for a hour or so.  Had lots of stuff all from around the Hartley House, and following the footpath to the West of Calf Hey.. and also a checkover around the Top O'th Knoll area...
Peacock (1) and my first this year.. Thistles - West of Reservoir
Small Tortoiseshell (8) Thistles - West of Reservoir.
Gatekeeper (22) throughout, although large colony near mushroom wood sculptures none to be seen..
Small Heath (1) at back of Top O'th Knoll.
Green Veined White (20) throughout.
Large White (2)
Meadow Brown (16)
