Are the Pied Wags and Reed Bunts likely to be family parties from locally breeding pairs do you think David?

Hi Jim,
The Wagtails were certainly a mixture of adults and juvs and it would seem highly likely they were a family party from a couple of broods.
There are usually a minimum of 3 pairs of Buntings around Holden Wood and so a dozen birds showing, plus no doubt some remaining hidden, would seem appropriate.
Regards,
David.
