80+ Swallows in small parties of 6/8 from 9-50-11-00am,6 House martins,1 Redpoll all heading south!
50+ Meadow Pipits,10 Mistle Thrush,no sign of any Twite in brief search.
Cowm reservoir:-40 Mallard,6 Tufted Duck,55 BH Gull, 1 Jay.

Hi Dave

30 twite were present around 12:50 today including at least 1 of the colour ringed birds.  I can also add the following to what you saw

Whitworth Quarry    2 ravens over heading north, 1 kestrel, 1 little owl, 1 teal on 1 of the ponds, 8 wheatear, another 11 swallows heading south and 1 great spotted woodpecker flying from the quarry towards Cowm.

Cowm Res  1 cormorant, 2 pied wagtail, 20 mistle thrush, 4 linnet, 1 bullfinch heard & 1 mixed flock containing at least 1 chiffchaff, 12 goldcrest, 4 great tit, 2 blue tit, 2 coal tit & 6 long tailed tit.
