18:15-19:15 Just caught the last hour of sunshine and some splendid views of The Valley and beyond: Kestrel, 1, Sparrowhawk, female disturbed flock of Lapwing, Lapwing, 22 feeding on recently mown field, Wheatear, 1 flew from drystone wall into rutted field and was still there 30 minutes later when I returned, looking settled, maybe its roost site for tonight?! Pied Wagtail, 1, Meadow Pipit, c8, Rook, 4 feeding on pasture. Regards, David Nuttall.
