Diriving over grane about12.45 pm friday 21 nov and i thought i saw what was a male hen harrier in the distance - definitely a grey-ish coloured bird inthe distance.   could have been a gull toi guess.   it was at clough head and flying low.  no positive id
then a raven flying fairly low from oswaldtwistle moor to pickup bank -  was driving alongside it for a while. 

sunday 23  3pm - male sparrowhawk over worsley park haslingden

monday 24 nov 3.30pm a woodpecker not sure if green or greater spotted - its call was a "peep peep" - any ideas?   it was in waterfoot.
