E.B.S.W. circuit 14:30hrs approx. Fine, bright but bloody cold.
c20 L.T. Tit flock with c2 Goldcrest and 1 Coal Tit near to entrance 1 Reed Bunting 1 Redwing with 11 + 6 seen at dusk 1 Wood Pigeon 1 Moorhen on river Pr Mistle Thrush c4 Blackbird 11 Mallard on river 1 Fieldfare over c40 B.H.Gull on beds 3 Herring gull over towards A.M.R. 60 + 60 + 40+ 12 Jackdaws heading towards Stubbins at 15:30 hrs, these birds came from Rawtenstall direction and were not joined by the 40 or so birds on the sewage works. This isn't the first time we've noticed this evening movement. Somewhere to the south of us there is a large roost of this species, it would be interesting to know if it falls within the Rossendale boundary.
1 Meadow Pipit c40 C.Crow 26 Pied Wagtails counted off the beds at dusk, all moved off in a N. direction. Very few finches or tits.
