at  least 40 lapwings in the field on  the right handside of grane road as you drive to blackbrn  about 2pm,  wednesday 23rd  sept


qute a few starling  flocks over h'den nowadays.   also looks like housemartins still breeding - keep  flying into the eaves of houses still.
