Other info: I was at Leighton Moss watching the Starling roost again last night. Some are recording it as 50,000. though I would be more inclined to register 15-20,000 (or at least thats what I would have said on last nights performance). at 5pm on way home in twilight to dark a "Fallow" stag ran across the road approx 20 yard in front of me, it may have been a one-three year old because the antlers where still not filled out, so probably not a mature stag...
