Noticed a GS woodpecker around Parkwood Drive, R'stall at about 3pm but it appeared to fly in the direction of the R'stall Tesco on Monday 30 Nov.  Its red patch was very noticeable in flight - would it be a male?    Another one noticed flying in the direction of the library at about 3pm once again but on the 1st of December.

At least 30 Common Gulls incl Juveniles flying over my house in H'den heading southwards at about 12 noon today.   Just before that a fairly large bird soaring very high up somewhat south of Cribden.  It appeared to be a large Gull ie Herring or maybe even a Buzzard.   It was very hard to tell as it was very distant.
