B.H.Gull, 3 north up the Limey Valley,
Herring Gull, 3 west over Rawtenstall,
Little Owl, 1 sat on dry stone wall,
Dunnock, 1 singing!
Mistle Thrush, pair & single,
Blackbird, c30
Coal Tit, c4, mainly in Balladen clough,
Blue & Great Tits in good numbers,
Carrion Crow, c4 on Twenty Penneth were the only birds on the tops beside starling.
Starling, c20 in gardens but a flock of 40 came south over Twenty Penneth through a blizzard!
House Sparrow, c20 in various gardens,
Goldfinch, 6,
Greenfinch, 4,
Chaffinch, 1,
Siskin, 1 in a garden in Waingate village.
