Cormorant, 3 on foating platform flew into the water to feed.
Mallard, 11 on small pond near car park,
Goldeneye, 1 male feeding in east bay,
Goosander, 14 (10 males),
Sparrowhawk, 1 female hunting south of res,
B.H.Gull, c20,
Common Gull, c6,
Collared Dove, 4,
Dipper, 1 feeding in outflow stream,
Fieldfare, flock 9 + 2 singles,
Blue Tit, 2,
Great Tit, c8,
Rook, c20, many on lamp posts south of res,
Starling, c12,
House Sparrow, c12,
Goldfinch, c10,
Greenfinch, c3.

Dave, your Rook sightings are of interest, at this time of the year I always assume they are away elsewhere. However 16 birds were amongst the nests at St Johns Crawshawbooth yesterday.
