Great tit 12+ Blue tit 14+ Coal tit 3 [numbers down] Lt tits 10+ [flocks have broken up] Bullfinch 8 [stayed in pairs all winter] Chaffinch 10+ [numbers well up] Goldfinch 8+ [small flock been hanging around for a while] Greenfinch 4 [these have just turned up this week] Nuthatch 6 [numbers steady] Treecreeper 2 [quite regular in same area] Dunnock 4+ Collard dove 1 pair [seem to be staying] Robin 10+ [they are getting territorial] Wren 2 [this was all i saw,hope more survive] Woodpigeon [lots ?] G S Woodpecker 4+ [they are drumming regular] Crow [a few over and in the fields] Rooks [as above] Jackdaw 12+ [they visit the feeders now] Starling [flock above porritt lodge,unusual here] Mistle thrush 1 Blackbird 8+ [male and female.numbers fluctsuate] Snipe 1 [this is a first for here,it was right down by the river] Kestrel 1 Tawny owl 2+ [the male is calling and the female answering]
Expected but missing, Jay, Goldcrest and Pheasant.

Finches seem to be sorting themselves out again up the hill here. 3 Greenfinch returned this week, and a pr of Bullfinch. Chaffinch numbers are up Goldfinch numbers thinning out And Brian, you can have as many of my Collard Doves as you like!!! lol Cheers,
One pair Collared doves is enough they eat to much,but i will swop you a Nuthatch for some House Sparrows if you still have any. Funny about the Greenfinchs just appearing like that.
