Spotted Flycatcher can be seen at Strongstry by the river path towards St. Ubbins....or at least it can if you are lucky.

Hi you two,

Seems i am being held to ransom regarding information about spotted flycatchers,i regulary walk the river path, where spotted turn up on autumn migration but have not seen one there in the spring.

Hi Brian

Missed you at the Bird Race.
The Spotted Flycatcher was by the bridge over the river on the Strongstry side.
A Wood Warbler was also seen today between the bridge and  Irwell Vale.
Cheers
Ian

Hi all

Dale I know where your Spot-fly is, I've seen it, but which path are you on Ian? Are you in Chatterton or do you mean the bridge on the old railway line where there was a spot-fly last year? In which case there may be more birds. Not heard the Wood Warbler at this end tho.

Regards
