What a difference a day makes - Holden Wood nearly frozen and no ducks there at all.
About 11 Lapwings though which roosted in the field. 3 had flown off elsewhere.
Plenty of BH Gulls flying over, also Common Gulls----all heading North.
Plenty of Blue and Great Tits at my feeders. A Robin but no other Chats and Thrushes. Plenty of Magpies, Carrion Crows and Woodpigeons and a cock Pheasant at the far end. a Wren at the far end too.
I set up another feeder at the far side right next to the wall.
Not to forget a Snipe and some really weird noise - something making a really odd noise which I could not see because it was getting dark.
