few birds about on a walk through the woods from Waterfoot to Lea Bank. Highlights as follows
tawny owl - 1 sparrowhawk - 1 female hunting across the edge of the wood 1 later seen at our feeders at Gaghills as well redwing - 4 song thrush - 1 siskin - 2 females and 1 male bullfinch - 3
The walk back through Warth produced 2 stock doves and little else. A grey wagtail was at Mill End Waterfoot and a kingfisher flew past the Grammar school
