Very quiet along the tops with nothing other than the odd crow as far as Grt. Hameldon. On Hameldon Hill close to the weather station (golf ball) there were signs of roosting partridge with droppings very evident. 1m Snow Bunting was flushed in this area and watched for 15 mins or so before it headed off high down the valley. 52 Fieldfare moved over us from out of Dunnockshaw probably heading towards Hapton. Down at Clowbridge 7 Collared Dove were perched in trees adjacent to the car park though gull numbers were hardly worth recording with just 2 Common Gull and 7 B.H. Gull heading S. away from the res. which is totally frozen.
