3  LRP

4 Cormorants - 3 flew away together

30 plus Canada Geese

1 Curlew seen near the Res and another heard

2 Oystercatchers - 1 sitting

20 plus Lapwing

over 15 Mallard - some Drakes chasing the females

1 female reed bunting

a flock of about 10 Linnet

5 min starlings

4 min Pied Wagtails

a few Mipits

1 Grey Heron

Robins, Blackbirds, Tits singing,

 

usual woodpigeons, carrion crows, magpies, house sparrows across road from holden arms near car park

on sunday at 12.45pm more or less similar number of birds - the reservoir is looking very busy!

except no LRP sighted, no cormorants too , no grey herons too

the oystercatchers still sitting in same place and they also mated

no female reed buntings vut 2 males - could have been same bird

on the tops ......plenty of meadow pipiuts, at leats 6 pied wagtails, 4 curlew, quite a few lapwings

also a wheatear

2 pheasant calling

no swallows seen
