 9 Dotterel on the south facing slope of Brown Wardle Hill and moving around feeding in the area.

I went to Pendle to Sunday hoping to see my first Dotterel but no luck! If these birds stick around till Sunday I might have to visit these.

5 dotterel still present today.  Also had a grasshopper warbler reeling acrooss the road from St Bartholemew's church on the way down.  Went to Spring Mill Res after and along with the regulars there were at least 2 swifts over Healey Dell, a male whitethroat singing at the back of Wallbank and a whinchat round the res
