Pheasant, pair + c6 calling males, Moorhen, pair with 2 small young, Curlew, c4, Lapwing, c30 inc several young, B.H.Gull, c40, many feeding in newly mown field, L.B.B.Gull, 6 feeding with Black Heads, Stock Dove, 3 singles, Wood Pigeon, c40, Swift, c20 over Deeply Vale & c60 over AMR, G.S.Woodpecker, 1, Skylark, c30 mainly in song, Swallow, c50, Sand Martin, c30 in a steady stream between Fletcher Bank & AMR, Meadow Pipit, c60, Pied Wagtail, c6, Grey Wagtail, female collecting food from river, Song Thrush, 3 in song, Willow Warbler, c20, singing well, Sedge Warbler, 2 singing birds from willow scrub near Wham Hill Farm, Whitethroat, 5 territories inc pair carrying food, male carrying food and male in song, Blackcap, 3 territories, two in song, Blue, Great & Coal, several family groups, L.T.Tit, 1 family group, Treecreeper, family group of c5 birds, Rook, single flew over, Jay, 1, Starling, c300 in groups up to 80, Chaffinch, c8, Greenfinch, 2 family groups, Goldfinch, 2, Bullfinch, calling near chimney, Linnet, c12, Reed Bunting, c16, seem to be everywhere!
