Great Black-Backed Gull

Great Black-Backed Gull Present at Holden Wood Reservoir 1800hrs today.  Little Egret was present later, leaving at 2105hrs flying towards Haslingden.

I saw a very large Gull heading North over Memorial Gardens sometime between 8.15-8.45, prob a GBBG - too big to be a LBBG. The bird looked a juvenile too.

Managed to get a (very poor) picture of it from the bench (it was up the other end).  It looked like a fine adult through bins.  I tried to walk slowly round but by the time I got up there it had gone!
