07:30 - 10:15 Canada Goose, 21, Mallard, 4, Sparrowhawk, 1 male sat on post being mobbed by 3 swallows, Kestrel, 2 singles, Pheasant, 2 calling, Common Sandpiper, flock of 8 at Clowbridge & 1 at Clough Bottom, Curlew, 2 calling, B.H.Gull, c6, Swift, c25 hawking over moors, G.S.Woodpecker, 2 calling, Skylark, c6 singing on the tops, Swallow, c80 especially Clough Bottom / Swallow Shore, Song Thrush, 1 singing at Clowbridge, Willow Warbler, c4 singing / calling, House Sparrow, c10 at Clowbridge, Goldfinch, 2, Greenfinch, flock of 5 over Compston's Cross, Linnet, 1 male singing at Swallow Shore, Crossbill, a flock of 16 flew over from Crown Point into conifers at Clough Bottom, Reed Bunting, c4 singing males.
