500+ House Martins, 80% newly fledged young going off birds netted ratio. All of which were "infested" with large blood sucking flat flies ( 25-30+ removed from some birds! ) which are regularly seen in 2`s or 3`s on juvs and adults of all hirundines.
400+ Swallow, mostly young birds. 100+ Swift.
Also Green Sandpiper on filter beds, Hobby over chasing swift towards Rawtenstall.
