Also yesterday had One singing Chiffchaff and two Willow Warblers in gorse bushes on Hutton Roof slopes (Park Wood side eg: Kirkby Lonsdale side).  Also last week a Wryneck and also a Icterine Warbler reported on Hutton Roof, but gone by the time I got there 24hrs later. Also I am told that two days later a Wryneck was present down at Winter Hill.

Trying a month watching down at Shore Ln/Hunting Hill at Carnforth (this lies about 1/4 mile South of Leighton Moss and Warton Crag) to try and pick up the Hirundines and general passerines on Southerly, and will hopefully return to Hutton Roof from the 2nd week in October.

Great reading all the great reports for Rossendale, especially Haslingden, thank you to everyone, and now its getting to that time of year yet again I will try and update vismig regular.

Owing to new work committments cannot start counting before 8am.hmm
